Mayo born artist Sean Rushe held his first solo show, ‘Different Threads’ at the Icon Factory.

‘I left school at sixteen without any formal training but the desire to expressmyself gradually overwhelmed my timidity.... The lack of formal art study can allow me to freer of trends and conventions. I want to pursue different avenues and see where they chance to meet. But a single direction is not my goal; on the contrary, I see even more avenues to be explored in the future.’
