BIRDIES

09.10.2015 - 5.11.2015

Kevin Bohan is a part-time volunteer and long-term friend of The Icon Factory. This is Kevin’s fifth solo exhibition and first to exhibit his cartoon BIRDIES.

Kevin has been drawing and painting his cartoon BIRDIES since 2011. He regularly paints them as large murals which are dotted around Dublin City (Dalymount Park in Phibsborough the home of Bohemian’s Football Club, Applerock Studios at Foley Street and Cabra Park Urban Gallery).

Drawing his cartoon BIRDIES allows Kevin to express his feelings about life, human interaction, love, politics and many other themes in a tongue-in-cheek manner.
